The WKC is a specialized resource and is not a public library. As a researcher, you can request an appointment to visit the WIPO Knowledge Centre here: https://wipo.libguides.com/wkc_guide/contact. Persons visiting the Library must be conducting research work related to the activities of the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO).
Access to the Knowledge Repository is available to anyone from anywhere. This means that anybody within or outside of the WIPO can search and discover authoritative IP content through this search interface.
To ensure a respectful and productive environment, please adhere to these guidelines when visiting the Library:
Purpose of Access: External visitors may only use the Library for activities directly related to the work of WIPO.
Use of Materials: Library materials must remain within the premises and may not be borrowed. Security tags are in place to prevent unauthorized removal.
Computer Access: Library computers are available solely for research related to intellectual property.
Printing: The printer is reserved for Library catalog searches and documents directly connected to intellectual property topics.
Photocopying and Scanning: These services are available for limited copying of Library materials only, in compliance with copyright regulations.
Respectful Conduct: Visitors are expected to treat the Library space, its materials, and staff with courtesy and care at all times.
Wi-Fi Access: A guest Wi-Fi code is available upon request.
